Somewhere between boots and pants are these chap boots. Chaps are leg clothing, which cowboys wear for horseback riding. They are made of thick leather, so they can protect the legs of the cattle drover against the horns of the cows and against thorn bushes. The significant about chaps is, that they do not have a crotch-part. This eases the wearing over the regular pants.

Someday a smart person had the idea, to sew a shoe on the chaps and they became boots. He gave the whole creation a reasonable style and called the whole thing chapboot. Today we do not remember, who the inventor was, but our gratitude is with him/her.

Chapboots are probably the most breathtaking boots in the whole wide world. These boots never seem to end. If you follow the bootleg with your eyes, your eyes while wander up to the hip. In the same manner as a woman sinks into those boots, men sink into the world of dreams.
